Welcome to the Harrison House Bed & Breakfast Blog!

Tales from the Innkeeper

Welcome to the inaugural blog post for the Harrison House Bed and Breakfast!

Tales from the Innkeeper is a fun and informational time of storytelling. We share our experiences, tips and great reasons to choose the bed and breakfast that fits your personality, as well as tell our most interesting stories of running an inn.

As innkeepers, we get to meet a wonderfully diverse group of people - all are welcome in our B&B/Inn. One weekend, we were honored to host a minister, a nun and an orthodox rabbi. It sounds like the start of a bad joke, but they were a lovely and charming group! We strive to give you a great experience while treating you like family - maybe even better!

We have also learned a great deal as innkeepers; we share our knowledge so that you can make the most of your bed and breakfast experience, whether staying with us, or as guests of another inn.

Check in every Monday morning for a new post. Some of the topics we're covering are:

5 things you need to know the first time you stay at a bed and

Healthy Living: How the right bed and breakfast will introduce you
     to new, healthy life choices

The top 3 things I love about being an innkeeper

The do's and don'ts of staying at a bed and breakfast

5 questions to ask prior to booking a room at a bed and breakfast

Come along with us on this journey, and feel free to email us with questions, or blog ideas. If we use your thoughts, ideas or questions for a blog post, you'll receive both a 20% discount off your entire stay AND an aromatherapy experience in your guest room the next time you stay with us!
