GENERAL POLICIES


  • Check-in is available any time after 3pm. Check-out is 11am.
  • Guests must be 21 years or older to book a reservation.
  • Each room has a maximum occupancy of 2 guests.
  • No children under the age of 5. We will accommodate children of any age for a family or group that reserves all five guest rooms.
  • No pets allowed. This includes service and emotional support animals.
  • Please let us know about any special dietary requirements when making your reservation.  We’ll make every possible effort to meet your needs.
  • Due to the historical setting of Harrison House we do not offer ADA accessibility or accommodations.
  • While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
  • Absolutely no smoking, candle burning, or incense burning is allowed in the house or on the porch. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed to any room where guests have disregarded this policy. If the sprinkler system discharges due to smoke or heat, the guest will be responsible for full repair costs in addition to the $250 fee. We do have a seated smoking area in the side yard.

CANCELLATIONS


  • All reservations require a deposit of 50% or the first night (whichever is greater) plus 11.5% tax to guarantee booking. For reservations of 1 to 2 rooms, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card 14 days before your arrival date. For reservations of 3 to 5 rooms, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card 21 days before your arrival date.
  • Reservations for 1 to 2 rooms made within 14 days of arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking. Reservations for 3 to 5 rooms made within 21 days of arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • We understand that sometimes the best laid plans may unexpectedly change. Because of our modest size, we do not overbook rooms, and we are greatly affected by cancellations.
  • Reservations for 1 to 2 rooms cancelled 21 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in full less a fee equal to 10% of your deposit. Reservations for 1 to 2 rooms cancelled within 15 – 20 days prior to arrival will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Reservations for 1 to 2 rooms are non-refundable within 14 days of arrival.
  • Reservations for 3 to 5 rooms cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in full less a fee equal to 10% of your deposit. Reservations for 3 to 5 rooms cancelled within 22 – 29 days prior to arrival will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Reservations for 3 to 5 rooms are non-refundable within 21 days of arrival.
  • Cancellation is calculated from 3pm CST the day of check-in. No exceptions will be made to this cancellation policy.
  • We highly recommend travel insurance to cover your stay in case of emergencies or other unexpected interruptions. We also recommend checking with your credit card provider to find out the terms of any trip cancellation and/or trip interruption coverage they may provide.
